The bottle on the left was dug in a old park when it was being restored. It was found in a early 1850's trash pit about twelve feet down. The park was just off of Price St. in downtown Savannah. It is an older type of bottle compared to the one on the right. Notice the difference in the style of the two tops. The bottle on the right was dug in a 1850's dump in downtown Savannah. The dump was under a sidewalk. Just think the dump was filled in and covered over. Years later a side walk was built on top of it. You just never know where old bottles will show up.
