A couple of years ago I was out shopping garage sales, and came across this sewing machine and the cabinet too. I thought it was really cool looking, and it's not electric, it's an old treadle type. Plus look at all the accessories! That I have no idea what they do. So of course I thought, if there were ever power shortages and I needed to sew, I MUST HAVE THIS SEWING MACHINE! Well, I haven't actually ever used it, but it is still fun to look at it. And I like saying Minnesota with a Minnesotan accent.

I paid $ 100.00 for this, at a garage sale, it also has the original cabinet. I am not sure if that was a great price or not.
I just aquired the same sewing machine. I have always wanted an old one like this. I have a bunch of attachments that I have no idea how to use. I really would appreciate some info if anyone has a owners manual. I cant even figure out how to thread it. Please help!!!
I do not have this same machine , but I do have ones with the same type of top tension . It is called a leaf tension I think . There are sewing machine group sites on the internet you can join for free and the members are very helpful . One I belong to is called , < wefixit , shade tree mechanics >
Hello everyone. I have come across what looks to be like a Model C but i am not sure without looking at it in person. What is a Minnesota Model C in good condition worth???
As a Minnesotan I love it! I know that in the old Sears&Roebuck the Minnesota sewing machines were the top of the line. In the 1909 addition you could have a Minnesota for I think $29.99.
Donna, you can go to You Tube and type in threading a White Rotary sewing machine. I dont know if this will help or not but it helped me thread my machine.
I have a Minnesota model D1106979 and I was wondering if anyone else has the same machine. I have all attachments and bobbins and is in it own cabinet with four draws. It actually works
I aquired my Grandmother's Minnesota Model C on our last trip driving to Wisconsin. I am so happy to have it home! I have none of the accessories that came with it and no manual. I do intend to use it once it is re-belted. Everytime I touch it, it like having Grandma Lilly near. I know she spent a lot of time quilting on this little gem!!! I have a few of her beautiful postage stamp quilts. I am so excited, being a quilter myself and am quite Anxious to begin! If anyone knows where I can get accessories or ? please let me know.
