I bought this and a few other items marked "junk jewelry" at an estate sale. (See my other post showing Trifari Teddybear I need info on). This small butterfuly measures 7/8" at the top and 1/2" at the bottom and has a ruby head. Apparently, the woman who owned the home was a hoarder and often bought things brand new and then kept them with labels. This still has the original Trifari label which says "Jewels by Trifari with "R" mark on one side and then shows the large capital T with Crown and in fine print "Made in USA" on the flip side. The label is metal, not paper. The pin is in beautiful fine and likely unused. It is signed on the back with capital TRIFARI and a copyright sign "C" in a cirlce on the back.
Can someone date and give an approximate value of this pin?

Thank you for the link, but that is not the same pin, nor is the label the same.
Also, the pin shown has a different signature mark on the back. The signature mark on my butterfly is in a rectangular box marked TRIFARI with a crown. Close though!
It was a sample of ebay search . I did not say exact one was just showing a search on ebay many times can give you the answer . The other link on other post show's marks and years :-)
