This ceramic item is about 5x3 inches across (115m.x.78mm). It's color is similar to Buffalo China's Blue Lune hue. And it looks to be of the Art-Deco style. There is no manufacturer listed on the bottom, but the numbers 414 are impressed on the bottom.
This has been in our family for as long as I can remember. And though my Father used it as an ashtray, I'm unsure what it's intended purpose was...soap dish, jewelry holder, heck, maybe it was really meant to be used as an ashtray!
Nevertheless, it is a catchy piece that I like very much!
