Am I the only person who remembers these?
I can't find them mentioned anywhere!
A string of lights that had little plastic angels on each one (so they sort of lit up from inside and glowed, just light covers I suppose?) I always thought they were so special because half of them were brunettes in pink dresses (I'm a brunette) and the other half were blondes in blue dresses. I'm pretty sure they had golden colored wings. I can't remember if they were just a choir of angels or if they also had instruments.
I'm sure they were made sometime in 1970's or very early 80's. I have one of those Bradford Celestrial disco ball toppers from the same time period that was on my tree when I was a kid and that I'm so glad I get to put up every year. (I had NO IDEA they were so collectible. The thing is a really cheapo piece of poorly made plastic--most of the "gold" has rubbed off of mine--thought it was just junk from my childhood.)
Anyhoo, if these lights do (or did--I'm beginning to think I only imagined them) exist I'm sure they are probably of similar cheaply made plastic but they'd be worth a fortune to me.
If any one remembers them please post or email me so that I can at least know that I'm not imagining things! If you have a picture or know where to find them (!) I'd really appreciate that as well.
