here we have a rare model 1938 truetone model d724-u. the d724-u was built with many features from the d724 and the d727. notice the speaker grill cutout has the has grill bars like the d727 only verticle and it retains the length of a d724.the chassis is one of its own with no transformer though it's a 110v chassis. this one received a complete restoration last fall.a large and graceful radio.
