I bought this table in an antique mall. It was in a clearance room - although I'm not sure why. It is in in pretty good condition. I didn't pay a lot for it. It is four pieces that are joined together and is 29 inches tall. The table top is 20 inches in diameter. Most of it was originally covered in gesso and gold leaf. Unfortunately, someone painted over it with gold paint. However, some of that paint is coming off, and I can see the gold leaf underneath. There is also some evidence of another color on it in some places that appears to be possibly a blue/gray. Otherwise, it is in good condition. It is old, but I have no idea how old. It is a Cupid with wings and a quiver of arrows on its back. It does not have a bow. I am wondering if anyone might know anything about it?
