Yes, I know, it's not a decanter, but isn't it pretty. Made in Murano Italy, probably by Salviati. Probably early 20th Century, but made in the style of Renaissance glass. When made the glass was covered with gold leaf before it was blown, creating a mottled gold pattern on the surface. Theoretically this not what I collect, as it is a little fussy, but sometimes you have to make exceptions. Also it's totally impractical, so it's just for looks.
