This Huebner Beer tray was given away in the summer of 1915. A Toledo News Bee advertisement from August 9, 1915 decribes the promotion as follows: "This handsome 13 inch tray will be given absolutely free to all of our patrons. All that you must do is sign for five cases of Huebner to be delivered anytime within six months, and we will send you this tray with your first order. Don't forget to ask for it. Every housewife wants one of these handsome trays. This is not the ordinary light tray, but a well-made durable one with a beautiful illustration in colors--a real work of art--one that you will be proud to show your friends. Remember, we will send this tray with your first order." Could not have said it any better myself!
