This is a Whitfriars amethyst vase made for the J.C. Wuidart & Co. Ltd. range, circa.1931-34. This is probably designed by Barnaby Powell, based on the ribbed wave style Whitefriars was already producing. This is 9.5 inches high.

"Helion, Lido Blue, Violet, Peacock Blue and Silver Grey"
    Which one is this?
So, Wuidart were Belgian importers? No wonder some of these pieces remind me of the colours of Dutch Leerdam, the shapes and optic effects too.

I think this must be violet as it is so much darker than the amethyst Whitefriars glass I have.
LOL I have been to the Cambridge glass fair and my nose print is probably on that glass display stand.
