Two Trikes - before and after.
The first - Thistle Trike. Not sure of the exact age, but it was originally red, and I painted it blue for a nephew. I traced and kept the original stencilling of "Thistle" across the metal seat. I added a middle brace with hook, and a sweet bell. Unable to find a missing foot pedal, I made two wooden ones. late 40's? 1950's? 1960's?
The second trike was not marked, but I believe it to be a TriAng. I kept all the original parts and just brought it back to original. All the tyres were in great shape and I was able to repair and keep the wood seat. Again, not sure of the age - but the front crank has bearings and it was in better condition than the metal one. 1940's?
Both were owned by the same owner / found in Canada - Winnipeg
Can anyone confirm the year? - or if the wood trike had paint on the seat?
