The shape is called 1496 2, I 've seen. Very Constance Spry. c 1957.

When identifying Beswick the numbers on the bottom are important, usually a 4 digit number. Phil.
Thank you PhilDavidAlexanderMorris , You must all think me stupid missing the numbers 1496-1 (found it). Will be looking out for this next time with my glasses on.

This shape is 1496-1, but strangely there are also shapes 1496-2 and -3, which is something that I have never come across. Was checking the price guide which is well over 358 pages.
It was issued 1957-1972 which is a fairly lengthy span. It came in 3 sizes, hence the -1,-2-,-3 ! # 1 is the largest at 10 inches.
Assorted colours, 1. decorations - satin matt
2. White and black - matt finish.
Book also mentions the designer is Albert Hallam in 1957 -Phil.
