WW2 30th Division "Old Hickory" patch and discharge for Otis Gadberry, Tech 5th Grade.
Gadberry occupational specialty is listed as a "Reconaissance Car Driver 733". He was wounded in action on 19 OCT 1944 in Germany and participated in the campaigns of Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe.
The 30th landed at Normandy on 11 JUN 1944 and was the lead force in the St Lo break through. Gadberry appears to have been wounded in the fighting to take Aachen.
