Small aviation dress plate- is it Bannerman?

This is a small center disc plate, 1 1/2", very similar to a Navy plate I have. This is the first plate I found, a LONG time ago-never had a keeper, would sure like to find one....Is this a Bannerman plate? I thought maybe, with the smooth back, but would like to hear from someone who knows!
