I bought a load of costume jewellery and found this lurking at the bottom.
Is this a Thomas L Mott.? The TLM in the pallet
it is approx. 2 inches long and 1.5 inches high
I think its pewter or a silver metal there is no hall mark.
I have looked everywhere I can think off but cannot find anything out about this item.
I know he is known for the butterfly wing stuff but this is new to me
Has anybody any ideas.?

Chrissy, i believe this is a Thomas L Mott brooch. The signature appears exactly like a TLM ring that I have. You probably are aware that your hunch was right but just thought I would confirm !!!!!
