    This is my great grandmother's Leather Chest. Her name was Teodora Gomez Cabañas. She lived in the department of Intibucá, in HONDURAS.
    She lived around 1895 and use store her personal items here.
    The built is cedar and it is covered with leather.

      I have no idea what type of leather it is, but it's probably cow's since that is what's common. I do not store anything right now since I recently inhereted it. I cleaned it up and displayed it on living room. Dimensions : 29x17x14 inches.
