Pair of green cased over Opal iridescent and decorated with platinum peacock pulled feather motif and bordered with opal. Shades have a 2 1/4" non-standard fitter and NOT signed. I've attributed these shades as Durand and I'm hoping someone in CW can correct me.

jamdan2k : I've collected Durand for 100 years ! I know Durand shades were not signed but the feathering on these shades does not look like Durand feathering. Just my opinion.

jamdan2k, I have to go with FWF on this...I know his "100 years" must count for something...plus the fitters also raise a question mark...
like FWF say, just my opinion also...

Thank you........Really appreciate your inputs especially from the advanced collectors. Do you think these shades are contemporary?

I think they could be contemporary. As JJZ has pointed out, the fitters don't look like vintage/antique, and modern shades have this fitter style. Lundberg?

dasullywon, I don't think is Lundberg but I will contact them to check. Thanks for the comment.

      Hello,
You might want to check with Carl at Phoenix too, he has the skill to make these. If you can't find Carl, Brian Severn was very familiar with the work that Carl produced if I remember correctly so he might be able to help you. He is very involved in Harrach research, I think.
