  16. Howard, Yes, that is the idea...and the QUEZAL ART GLASS and Decorating Company book would follow after the photography is completed...we are almost there with the collection...many of these examples ...

  25. jamdan2k, These are large lily shades with lily fitter rims for hanging.

  32. ks85: When a shade is referred to as...Roberts #257...shade collectors are referring to both the shape and decoration...sometimes they will singularly refer to the Roberts shape or decoration to help ...

  34. F.W.F., The only differences in the decorations is that the shade has a vivid gold iridescent stretched glass all over the ruffled interior and exterior opening of the shade and your vase has a triple...

  36. dasullywon, Yes, I saw your Quezal and Lustre Art shades they are a very nice match. The later Lustre Art Glass Company made identical shades to the Quezal Art Glass and Decorating Company shades...
  37. FWF, I only have half way decent photos of a few shades...the rest are my reference polaroids from a by gone era...someday I will have better photos...kinda like the someday book...

  42. Hello twentiethc, my thoughts on this example is that it is a contemporary studio glass vase, I do not believe this to be Quezal...it's a nice little piece but not old.

  45. FWF is correct: The "V" prefix dates this example to about circa 1918...the "V" prefix was the last letter used before the transition over to the Quezal silver signature... similar to the Durand silve...
