DeSimone The DeSimone line of pottery was created by Sicilian aristocrat turned artist, Giovanni DeSimone. It is often said that his work is reminiscent of the artist Pablo Picasso, whose influences seem evident in the bright colors and simple lines of DeSimone’s ceramic art. His original, handmade ceramic designs and inspirations now live through the work of his daughters. This collection features scenes reminiscent of Sicilian folk art, including the marketplace, wine making, and the Mediterranean Sea.
