    • Fightin’ Femmes: Unmasking Female Superheroes with Author Mike Madrid By Lisa Hix — When I was growing up in the ’60s and ’70s, reading comics wasn't as popular as it had been in the ’40s or ’50s. Comments

  1. Awesome mid-century chair!
  2. Yes, Danish Modern and I'm guessing more early 60s. Awesome.
  3. Oh yes, these were on my parent's living room wall growing up... right next to the sunburst clock. Nice find.
  4. Had one in purple in the early 70's, but mine was filled with Jackson 5 and Osmonds - some Beatles.
  5. Looks like a camp kitchen but not portable enough - perhaps it came from a vintage camper.
  6. Had a couch and chair just like this in pink frisé. We called it the reading chair because my small children sat on each arm while I read. Very art deco, which means 1930s.
  7. It doesn't get any better than this!
  8. Hmmm... the lines say mid-century, but the fabric says 70s early American. It was probably originally upholstered in a vinyl like the previous poster comments. Nice.
  9. Definitely Danish Modern and I would guess early 1960s. Great lines and wonderful original fabric!
  10. Wow! What a find. And the blanket, too!
  11. Love, love, LOVE this bench! Never regret that purchase! Awesome.
  12. What a beautiful find. Reminds me of a chair I rendered in college called the Lotus chair.
  13. See more
