I Was Born in Ireland To Irish Parents but moved to London England When i was around 7 or 8 where i grew up and spent 25 years working in some of londons top 5 starI Was Born in Ireland To Irish Parents but moved to London England When i was around 7 or 8 where i grew up and spent 25 years working in some of londons top 5 star hotels looking after some very well known names in the entertainment buisness. but i have always had a love of history since childhood i would spent hours in the tower of london and greenwich as i had a love of the tudors (of which i have many Tudor Dolls made by various Doll Makers. also as a teenager i fell in love with an image of an actress called Marilyn Monroe and Started to Collect anything i could find on her (Back in London in the early seventys there were many old houses that had been earmarked for demolition. and in the old days in the fiftys people often lined the floorboards with old newspapers or magazines before laying floor covering so we soon discovered (me and my Friends that had also caught the monroe collecting bug) that ripping up the old floor covering we often found many old Marilyn Newspapers or Mags so my collection grew.
Then Puberty Struck. and i started to out grow my teenage passions as i reached my twentys i gave most of my Marilyn Collection to my Mum who not knowing the value of Such things sold them all for next to nothing
at a car boot sale.
But ive always retained a place in my heart for my first crush Marilyn and have now started to collect Original Monroe Magazines Again. which i would like to show in future
i also collect many other things aswell like vintage prints/Postcards/and Books on the area i live in Ireland Which Is Westmeath.
i dont know if anyone would be interested in seeing any of these or the tudor dolls if so let me know.
