I found a reference in Tirza True Lattimers book called: The Perfume Atomizer, An Object with Atmosphere. On page 117, that has a similar elephant on the bottom left portion of the page, and it refers to the elephant perfume as one of a series of exotic miniatures made for the souvenir market around the time of the French Exposition Coloniale of 1931. Marked made in France.
