I make jewelry out of vintage tins. A lot of the tins I find are very rusty or have spots where the paint has been scratched off. A collector may not be interested in these very damaged items, but I love taking the parts that are still in good condition and turning them into something new! I use all kinds of tins including cosmetic, lunch boxes, tobacco, toiletry, food, toys, and signs.

Thanks, Valentino97! I have used a few tins that were very old and scratched because I still liked the look of them. I file off all the rust, though, so they are safe to wear! The license plate bracelets sound very cool! I love the idea of just having the relief and no color. I will post more photos.
