    Additional reference for Ball canning jars collectors. These are two scan pages from my 1930 Ball Mason Jars catalog. Ball Mason jars are made on an Owens glass mold machine. The numbers embossed on the bottom of the jars are the mold numbers. Picture 3 is the Owens machine which manufactured 60 mason jars per minute..

      It amazes me the technology they had , the Ball making machine looks so complicated. I don't think people challenge their minds nowadays to think up new inventions. Thank you for sharing
