Went to VOA today and I found the missing pheasant I needed to make a pair. She's the one in the background. Unfortunately she's been decapitated and glued but the texture of the finish hides it pretty well. They actually had both male and female but I already had the one and they were priced separately anyway. Then I thought hmm... the bowl I got the other day matches fairly well too. Same finish. It's a bit whiter but all together it makes a nice centerpiece set for a dining table or console. -Mike-

Nice! I'm the dork that won't separate couples so would have bought both.
It was dry here until this week, then it started pouring. Today is was crazy. Plan on posting this weekend...finally.

Actually the mate to this one was still there today when I went Amber. Closer inspection revealed his head had been broken off as well. The repair was rather sloppy and obvious so I left him behind for a second time.

Hey Mike, interesting photo, the light adds a certain mystique.
      Beautiful pieces too!
