I recently found this chair in an estate sale in rural Georgia. It was a living estate and the owner was present. She indicated that the chair had been reupholstered in the 60's and that the chair is much older than the lovely 60's fabric that was used. However, I'm not sure...

I'm hoping that someone will be able to tell me more about it... once I discover it's true age, I hope to cover it in something more in keeping with the period from which it comes (assuming it's not a period that requires orange and brown scratchy material!).

Is it an old chair dressing in young clothes or is it a not-so-old chair in age appropriate clothes?? :)

    Many thanks in advance!

Not sure about the rest, but love the grain of wood you show.
