Exquisite changeable silk antique 1860's dress with wide pagoda sleeves and early silk trim. In exceptional condition...a rare estate find!

I am in love with these old dress's . I am perplexed that silk would have held up that long I have never seen it before . On My French fashion dolls the original silk gowns always shows damage from over the years . I made reproduction clothes for dolls in these styles using vintage material and I can't help but wonder if these are remade for a specific reason like a Movie or Musuem fashion display . Just wondering but loving them !
