This is a $1 Gaming Chip from the Boardwalk Regency Casino in Atlantic City, NJ - Circa early 1980's - Four pink color inserts on white ring background - center is the Regency emblem. Obverse & reverse shown.
First opened in 1979 as Caesars Boardwalk Regency and like Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, having an ancient Roman theme, they changed their name in

i also thought the boardwalk regency $1 gaming chip has a nice classic feel, and the low-stakes angle is what has me curious too. the only downside for me was how fast talks about it get flooded with random links. i was trying to discuss the chip design and value in a group and people kept dropping sites such as https://monopolyroulettegame.com/apps/ which derailed the whole chat. another thread had the same issue with https://livelightningdice.org/apps/ and it made it harder to actually talk about the casino itself. hope they keep the simple collectible vibe going.
