Cast Iron Cap Bomb

This is a Cast iron late Victorian toy used by childred around the turn of the 20th Century.
The child would place an explosive cap inside the mouth cavity. When the cap bomb (held with a string on the looped end) was dropped on a hard surface such as concrete or a rock, the cap would explode an make a loud report.
There were several likeness of this toy. George Washington, Admiral Dewey, The yellow man, were some of the noted people of the time that were copied.
As a child, I had something similar in the form of a rocket that a cap was put against two metal buttons. When thrown in the air, a similar report would occur. ...... hotairfan.
