Open Salt Cellar

This is a pretty little open salt cellar I found when I looked for my toothpick holder to post on CW. I bought it a few years ago because it reminded me of one my mom used to have but it got broken when she sent it to me in a package.

I believe this salt cellar is a vintage item. It has very delicate patterning, but I am not sure if it is cut or pressed.
