I'm not sure what this fugure is,appears to be carved out of old wood,all handpainted,white face,red lips,really strange,I've had this item about 25 years,bought it from an estate sale.

I have a couple of these too... They typically come in a set of (?, maybe 8 or 15) and each musician has a different instrument... They are very popular in Asia.

I think they are just wood pieces they carve. I can't remember what they called these guys...
