    I know it was brought over by my uncle from Japan. He was on a submarine there.

    I always thought it was so unique. It has straw or bamboo wrapped handles.

    Has anyone ever seen one before?

      Hi there. I have one here but different color, and different design. I remember ours being used in the late 1960's era at the farm. It was for serving drinks and very popular house-ware item. At least around here back in those days...LOL. Will post mine later....
