This necklace has been in the family for five generations, it was originally my Great-great-grandmothers (maternal side), who was born in Prussia? in 1873. The necklace is 32" and contains coloured beads and hand carved ivory strung together with gold plated brass. This piece is very important to me due to its sentimental value, it has been passed down only to daughters and will be passed down to my daughter in years to come. I would certainly appreciate more information about the origins of this piece.
Thank you Valentino97, I can see the similarities to your unique pieces. Having a date will help identify its origin. 1910 - 1920s is certainly plausible, my Great-great-grandmother would have been in her 30s - 40s in that time period.
