1983 - U.S. Mint Souvenir Set Medal - Philadelphia

This is a bronze medal from a 1983 U.S. Coins Souvenir Mint Set. - In 1982 and 1983, the U.S. Mint did not issue "official mint sets" as in prior years. Instead, there were issued Uncirculated Souvenir Sets in their place which were packaged and sold in gift shops at the Philadelphia and Denver Mints.
This bronze medal was included in those two years "Souvenir" sets. Although not dated, this particular medal came from a 1983 set.
