As soon as I saw this vase I just had to have it, although it is generally glassware that is my passion. I love its colour and shape and who doesn't love roses. I am trying to find out more about it but have been unsuccessful so far. I assume the four digit number must refer somehow to the date it must of been made and that it is a vintage piece as it reads "Hand Painted Italy" rather than "in Italy". Could it possible be early Capodimonte? I only guess at this due to the gold writing. Does anyone know anything about this lovely item?
