When my grandmother passed away I was fortunate to receive two of her Persian lamb coats. One of them has kept me cozy nearly everyday through this entire Canadian winter! The beautiful button on this coat has sparked a whole new collecting bug for me and I've gathered a number of lovely buttons that I plan to incorporate into knitting projects.
I love the idea of incorporating into a knitting project...wonderful gifts for family members. I've been making 25-inch scarves with a buttonhole and adding a button out of inherited button boxes.
