      I've restored a couple of these for a museum. Google Koorsen Fire and Security and click the "museum" and you will see some of my work. If you can remove the brass screw on top you will find inside (or at one time) a glass bottle that held sulphuric acid/the tank contained water and baking soda--when tipped the acid would mix creating CO2 gas and tremendous pressure to expel the water. If the brass label is still attached the charging details are listed. Thanks--Doug.
