An odd trunk with bottom drawers. The seller claims it is from the late 1800s but to me it seems considerably more modern. Any thoughts?

it's a beautiful trunk w/ a late deco look to it - 1940s - 1960s, i would guess.
Thanks ho2cultcha. Any thoughts on the rarity of these? I would think they are fairly common and not sought after due to their not so antique factor.
Very nice and I agree more modern in design and quite nice piece and very functionable to use . Any makes mark on it on underside ? and what size is it ?
oops I meant any makers marks :-)
I would have trouble believing it is 1960's much less 1800's.
