I found this copper pot or spittoon... It is 10 inches across on the top, but the opening seems too wide for a spittoon... The mark on the bottom has a flower of sorts... It is thicker and much heavier than spittoons I have come across before... I'm not sure about the color inside either...Thanks for the help!!

I would also think the lip would have an inward taper to be a spittoon. What the hell do I know about spittoons?!

Blunderbuss2...Yes... That's what I thought...I guess if you total up what we both know about spittoons we still know nothing... I'm actually hoping it is not a spittoon!!
