Quail taxidermy unknown maker but piece is from 1940

hello fellow collectors i need a little bit of help here with this Quail
taxidermy piece.my grandfather had it since the 1940's but since it
was given to him as a gift neither him or me have been able to find
out were it was made or who made it.it looks like to me it had
a stamped mark on the bottom of the wooden base but its really hard
to even make out due to its age.my grandfather can honestly verify this
piece is from the 1940's because that's when he obtained this as a gift
from his sister who has long passed.she got it for him since my grandfather
loved to hunt.i hope i kindly ask for your help and advice on how to go
get more information on this piece.and thank you so much to all the
