    My Grandmother had these salt and pepper shakers. I am trying to find out their origin. They are both 5 inches tall, I cannot find the stamp anywhere. Please help if you can.

      The "C. CO. S." in the quatrefoil is the "stamp" you are looking for... now you need to figure out which C. S. company made it (no offense intended).

      Probably made of "Britannia Metal", a pewter-like alloy.
