    it's on a large vase i saw for sale today. it's pretty interesting. the clay has a brick red color [despite the rim you see here?]. it was a bit expensive so i thought i'd check to see who made it first.

    it's probably a california midcentury piece.

    thanks for any help you might provide.

      i wish i had taken a pic of it, but i didn't. it's a very simple, egg-shaped vase - very large - 24" tall. beautiful green glaze and brick red interior.
