Truly I don't quite know if I should eat from these plates that I recently acquired or display them in my hutch.
Can anyone provide some info as to the (collectible) grading of these plates? Does the # on the back of plate depict a limited edition series or what?
    Thank You!

Why would you call it Peruvian if it depicts olives and a tomato, states "Italian Garden" on the reverse, above "Hand Painted in China"? I'm not getting this one...

Thanks for the 'wake-up, dude' message, TubeAmp!
Duh! what was I thinking! (perhaps the seller being from Peru had something to do with it) Anyway, sorry to put you through some confusion, but I've just corrected the title.

I don't think it would be that collectable in the finacial sense, but that doesn't mean you can't collect them if you wish. Sometimes the numbers refer to a kiln lot or a way to account for the artist's productivity or quality control. So, no, I don't think this is a limited edition, numbered release.
