I need some experts opinion regarding this vintage Coke thermometer, I recently purchased this from an online auction (ebay) and wondering if this authentic or reproduction.

It has gold finish on the arrow and number 495 - made in USA, what is the different between 495 & 495A ?

    Thank You

There are authentic versions of this thermometer marked 495 and 495A.

      http://www.ebay.com/itm/1964-034-Thing-Go-Better-With-Coke-034-Round-Coca-Cola-Thermometer-/131277562055

Repros have the 495 or 495A Made in U.S.A. printed in black (not green) and the registered R circle is missing under the TGBWC logo.

This is The Real Thing. And a nice one at that.

I never mind paying a little extra for something I really like. You'll make it up on your next deal.
