    I'm thinking this is a jewellery box but I'm not sure. It plays music when you take the cover off. Winds up from underneath. No markings at all. Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks.

      Hi I have one very similar - It's Italian inlaid wood veneer, made on the Is of Capris mine is stickered (Isola of Capris) with a Swiss movement. The inlaid marquetry is gorgeous and I have two, one is dark finish and slightly larger than this example.
