French WWI Lebel Bayonet. 18" long, weighs about 15oz. Nickel-silver plated handle with markings "86/93" & "7 M". Marking at base of blade is an "S" inside a diamond shape. Markings on quillion are two script letters that appear to be "F K", followed by "117" and two individual "P"s in separate circles. Bayonet is in very good condition with very light oxidation in places. Latch functions easily and springs back to locked position. Tip of blade is extremely sharp. Grandfather served in WWI and was part of his collection that he brought home from the war. Do not have scabbard.
