Item BT351, N-8, NATIONAL BITTERS, figural ear of corn, medium puce, nice "drippy" applied top, bold embossing, whittled, has a small (3/16") surface fissure on both sides of the neck just above the ring. I don't know why but I have seen this same defect on numerous National Bitters, a very nice example in a beautiful color, America 1867 to 1880, $3,400. http://www.greatantiquebottles.com/bitterspage.html
