    hello,
I have a button i'd like to try and identify. i'm not sure of the age or the maker, as you can see there is no back to it. it appears to be made of copper, it was probably a two piece, it's a little smaller than a quarter, and has 12 stars on it. i've tried looking in two books on button identification, but can't find an image close enough to it. one book is by warren k. tice, the other is by alphaeus albert. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

hi, i checked out the website you provided, it's great. I'm just waiting for an answer from them n the backmarks. if they send a pic of the back, i'll be able to to get an idea of who and when it was made. thank you for asking.
