Here is a Art deco dresser, bench and mirror that I wanted to buy from a sale I went to last week. It was only $35 but the girlfriend said " No No No". Would have been nice to have bought it then restore it. The mirror was really nice and big. Wonder what year this was made?

Nice Deco set, probably late 30's, early 40's. In my market about $350, I would ditch the girlfriend.

I believe this style of dresser was more popular around the late 1920s and early 1930s. If yours has very thin side panels (veneer on slat board), then more than likely it was made during the depression period.

My granny, who lived in Altus, Oklahoma, had three pieces to her bedroom suite. It was a dresser similar to yours, a tall chest of drawers, and a full size bed frame that came with wooden slats. I don't know what ended up happening to the bed frame, but I ended up with the furniture after it was passed around in my family many years after she had left us.

Your dresser looks to be made of walnut, which is hard enough to hold sculpted edges better, and makes for sturdier veneer.
