So I'm talking toys with this guy I know and mention that I hope to someday come across the 1950 Gilbert Atomic Energy Lab - to see, if nothing else. And he says "I've got one... I'll bring it by and show ya."
And he did just that the next day.
He actually has two - this one nearly complete (but unfortunately, not in working order due to inevitable deterioration of some of the wiring and rubber components) and a second with just some odd&end parts. Plus a third that is just the case only. I hate him. I love this "toy".
Really neat. Don't remember this one.
Probably because it cost a month's wages for a working man back in the day - $50 in 1950!
